SAFETY PRECAUTIONS:
CAUTION: Risk of Electric shock. Do not open.
CAUTION:To reduce the risk of electrical shock. Do
not open covers.
No user serviceable parts inside. Refer servicing to qualified service
personnel.
GRAPHIC SYMBOLS EXPLANATION:
The lighting flash with a arrowhead symbol, in an equilateral
triangle, is intended to alert the user. There is un-insulated "dangerous
voltage" presence near the product's enclosure which may be a risk to
people.
The exclamation point within an equilateral triangle
is to alert the user to reference of the important operating and maintenance
(servicing) instructions.
Accommodates a 6 pound load (center of gravity at 1.5"above plate).
1.0 Features:
Compact and attractive appearance, Indoor/Outdoor design.
Motor running stable.
Flame-retarded ABS material.
Adjustable horizontal limit switcher, the unit capable of operation
with load to 6 Kg.
RS485 data communication.
With internal decoder, Multi-protocol,baud rate for selectable.
Pan speed:5/sec; Tilt speed:5/sec.
With line scanning function.
2.0 Description of the Dip-switcher setting:
2.1 Dip-switcher,
6-Dip switcher:1-4 for Protocol, 5-6 for Baud rate; 10 Dip
switcher (frontal 9-DIP) is for the address setup: 511, count it as
the binary system.

4. Address Setting:
Before the application of the Dome pan and tilt, the address
codes should be set first by DIP 1 to DIP 9 of SW 1 on PCB in binary
8421 coding system, in which DIP 1 means lower bit and the maximum address
is 511. State ON of the dip-switch means "1" while OFF means "0". Some
address codes of the dip-switch are set as above.
2.5 Selection of 120 Terminal Resistor:
The DIP-10 of SW 1 is used to select 120 terminal resistor.
In order to remove the reflection of echo wave in communication circuit,
you can connect a 120 terminal resistor in parallel between 485+ and
485- of the Dome (set the selection bit of 120 terminal resistor at
ON). The standard of RS485 industrial bus requires all equipment should
be connected in daisy-chain style and both ends should be connected
with 120 terminal resistor (see Figure 5). The simplified connection
can be done as Figure 6 but distance "D" couldn't be larger than 7 meters.
