BUTTONS ON THE IR REMOTE CONTROL |

CONNECTING the CAMCORDER / CAMERA |
1. Release the lock on the pan head. 2. Remove the shoe/platform. 3. Insert the screw on the shoe/platform into the bottom of the camera screw hole. 4. Use the button of backside pad to screw camera in clockwise. 5. Lock the firmly screwed camera & shoe/platform back onto the pan head. |
6. Locked position. 7. Unlocked position. 8. Shoe removed and flipped over. |
INSERT BATTERIES INTO THE REMOTE CONTROL UNIT |

1. Remove the battery compartment cover
on the back side of the control.. 3. Insert two new AAA batteries in the compartment with the positive (+) polarity as illustrated. 4. Return the cover, pushing it until it clicks into place. |
INSERT BATTERIES INTO THE PAN TILT MOTOR |

>1. Open the door on the bottom of the
pan tilt motor. 2. Insert 5 new batteries in the compartment, observe polarity. 3. Return the door, pushing it until it clicks into place. Note the 1/4-20 thread in the center to connect to your tripod. |
HOW TO TURN ON THE POWER |

1. Move the Power Switch in the direction
of the arrow. 2. When Power Indicator and Front Reference Light are both on at the same time, you may use the remote controller to control the Pan Head directly. |
HOW TO OPERATE REMOTE CONTROLLER |
|
Directional control While pushing the left arrow button, the unit will pan left. Pushing the right arrow button, the unit will pan right. Maximum panning range is 60 degrees left or right of center, 120 degrees total. Auto Pan button Auto pan the entire range of 60 degrees left and right. (Press once to stop auto panning) Tilt angle control While pushing the up arrow button, the unit will tilt up. Pushing the down arrow button, the unit will tilt down. Maximum tilting range is 10 degrees above or below center, 20 degrees total. |
INDICATOR LAMP REFERENCE |

1. Power Indicator: It will light up when you turn on the power. 2. Infrared Confirmation light: It will blink once when receiving a signal from the remote control, but twice at the end of travel range for pan or tilt. 3. Front reference light: Help you to accurately point the Pan Head when you are in front of the camcorder. Pan simply and tilt the unit until the red light appears the brightest. This means that the pan head and camcorder are pointed directly at your face. First Image: Camcorder lens is facing toward your left side. Push right arrow. Second Image: Camcorder lens is facing directly toward you. Third Image: Camcorder lens is facing up. Push arrow facing down. Forth Image: Composite photo of Front reference light with camera centered, surrounded with indications of up, down, right and left. |
LIMITS OF OPERATION FOR IR Hand Held REMOTE CONTROL |
IR Distance: 10m (29
feet) from remote control to the pan tilt unit. IR acceptance angle left 60 degrees and right 60 degrees, measured from the IR window. IR acceptance angle up 15 degrees and down 15 degrees, measured from the IR window. Direct sunlight will reduce the IR transmitting range. When using external remote sensor, the IR acceptance angles are limited to 30 degrees left and right and 15 degrees up and down. |

CAUTION!
Please use caution to avoid damage from water or liquids seeping into the internal components. Avoid use in high humidity conditions (i.e. Steam) and excessive vibrations. When using with tripod, use caution to assure the tripod, pan head and camcorder outfit is placed on a solid, stable surface. Do not use alcohol, benzene or paint thinner to clean the surface. Clean the EBRA-121R with a damp cloth. Use a mild soap, wring out cloth, if necessary. Do not use in direct sunshine, in closed car, near open flame or heater in vicinity of operation. This product can only be used with the supplied remote control. DO NOT TRY TO MOVE BY HAND OR YOU WILL DAMAGE THE GEARS OF THE EBRA-121R. |
